Changes Coming to BOLT Support

Our new contract for Desire2Learn includes premium support services for instructors and students. Staring the week of Spring Break, BOLT Support will transition to new support processes for you.
  • 24/7/365 Technical support for BOLT from our vendor for instructors and students.
  • New support widget with a Live Chat feature for live chat with a support technician.
  • Custom knowledge base with instructions on how to do things in BOLT.

24/7/365 Live Technical Support
Working on something in BOLT at midnight? Submitting a paper at 3am?
You can be in contact with a live support technician around the clock by calling our support line or chatting live with a technical support representative.
Previously, the IMD Center processed all support requests for BOLT. Starting the week of spring break, technical support issues will have 24/7/365 attention directly from our vendor, Desire2Learn. You will be able to call 1-866-921-0473 or chat live with support using the new Support Widget in BOLT.

New BOLT Support Widget Coming Spring Break

New Support Widget with Live Chat
You will have access to a new widget in BOLT which has a Live Chat feature. All you will need to do to chat in real time with a support representative is click on the Live Chat icon in the widget.
Custom Knowledge Base
You will have access to a custom knowledge base for BOLT users. This will provide you with helpful documentation to accomplish tasks in and troubleshoot issues in BOLT.
