Reminder: Incoming Freshmen must complete the Orientation Seminar course in BOLT

If you are a new incoming freshman at Bloomsburg University, you need to complete the Orientation course in BOLT. Completion of the course results in a Certificate. You must receive a certificate to complete the course. If you do not, a hold will be placed on your account.

Transfer students do NOT have to complete the course in BOLT and will not gain access to BOLT until August 17th. (New Graduate students also gain access on August 17th.)

New Student Orientation

Welcome New Students!

Incoming freshmen must complete an Orientation Seminar. This BOLT course is available at different times for different groups.

For Summer Start/Act 101 Students

Access to the course on July 2

Summer Assignment is due on July 30

For Other Incoming Freshmen

Access to the course on July 16

Summer Assignment is due on August 13

Transfer students must also complete an orientation program, but that program is NOT in BOLT. Transfer students will not be able to access BOLT until approximately 11 days prior to the start of the semester.
